Memories of the Conquistadors
While Studio W was still occupying its old location, we
decided to host a joint show with several of the businesses (to where we later moved) and
try to have the city of El Paso designate the section of Doniphan Drive separating us as
"The Oņate Mile". Council member, Dr. Gene Finke did so and cut the
ribbon to allow the conquistadors to ride the newly designated mile.
