The former gallery director of Studio W, Myrna Zanetell, has been a professional writer for more than ten years, specializing in the fields of art and literature.

Her feature articles and artists profiles have appeared in such prestigious national publications as "Southwest Art", "Art of the West", "InformArt", "Watercolor Magic" and "American Cowboy".    She has authored numerous features and book reviews for "The El Paso Times", "El Paso Scene",  "El Paso, Inc.", "The El Paso Herald Post" and "Texas Books in Review".

Her newspaper experience includes two years as "Books Editor" for the "Associated Desert Newspapers" in California and four years as "Arts Editor" with "Westside Today" in El Paso, Texas.

Myrna, a member of "Western Writers of America", has had several articles included in the 1996 revision of "The Handbook of Texas".
